About the Instructor

This class is taught by Sarah Bamford, BSN, RN, IBCLC. Sarah started her nursing career in the NICU at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. She has also worked in an outpatient pediatric GI clinic. She completed her Certified Lactation Counselor certification after having her first baby, then went on to become certified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Sarah currently works as a Lactation Consultant at Corewell Health Beaumont, Troy. She is the mother of four and credits her own breastfeeding challenges as the reason she became a Lactation Consultant, providing assistance and education to new parents on their feeding journey.

Class Details

  • Classes are held at Generations OB-GYN.
  • The cost is $30 payable by cash, check to Sarah Bamford (Venmo or PayPal available upon request).
  • The class is intended for expectant mothers. Class participants are welcome to bring a support person.
