The Art of Breastfeeding
With breastfeeding there are two parts to the equation, the latch and mom’s milk supply. When both are at their optimum the result is a healthy thriving baby!
Our breastfeeding class is designed to help new and expectant parents feel prepared, confident, and supported as they begin their feeding journey. The instructor, Susan Brooks, is a knowledgeable nurse educator with extensive experience in women’s health, labor and delivery, and lactation.
The class explores the basics of getting started with breastfeeding, including positioning, latch, and understanding your baby’s feeding cues. You’ll also learn practical tips for building a strong milk supply, navigating common challenges, and knowing when to reach out for extra support. Whether you are planning to exclusively breastfeed, combine feeding methods, or simply want to learn more, this class provides practical guidance and reassurance.
