Meet Our Team

Torey Asao, MD joined Generations OB-GYN in July of 2023. He is grateful to be a part of such a great group of providers and has enjoyed providing comprehensive obstetrical, surgical, and primary care to his patients since joining.

Dr. Asao originally hails from Minnesota where he attended Gustavus Adolphus College for his undergraduate degree. There, he played football and his experience in athletics led to him pursuing a career in medicine. He moved to Michigan to attend the Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and then went on to continue his training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak.

In residency, Dr. Asao was recognized for excellence in minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery and reproductive endocrinology and infertility. His clinical interests include minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery, general and high-risk obstetrics, and perinatal mental health.

While not in the office, Dr. Asao enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He enjoys all forms of exercise and has many hobbies including reading, guitar, and travel photography.
